Area Sales Manager

About the role

This is a sales leadership position responsible for developing and executing area-specific sales strategies, managing a sales team, and driving business growth through client relationship management and strategic market analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute area-specific sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives
• Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the team
• Identify new business opportunities and market trends
• Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for continuous improvement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management
• Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly
• Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical standards

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
