Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

• Appoint new distributors, dealers, and retailers.

• Develop and manage the dealer-distributor network in assigned territories.

• Drive primary and secondary sales.

• Build relationships with paint dealers, hardware shops, building material dealers, contractors, and applicators.

• Identify new markets and business opportunities.

• Manage and guide the field sales team.

• Monitor competitor activities, market demand, and pricing.

• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.

• Submit regular sales reports and market feedback to management.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-5 years of experience in sales.

• Experience in paints, wall putty, waterproofing, construction chemicals, or building materials preferred.

• Strong knowledge of dealer and distributor management.

• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new markets.

• Good communication, negotiation, and team management skills.

• Knowledge of the Uttar Pradesh market will be an advantage.

• Willingness to travel across assigned territories.
