Area Sales Specialist

Job Summary

This is an Area Sales Specialist level position within the business segment Personal Care. The position will manage customers and distributors based in South China while working closely together with the Sales Manager – Greater China who is based in Shanghai.

Job Description

This position will be responsible for creating new business opportunities and developing business relationships with new and existing customers. This position will also be responsible for managing distribution in South China focusing on growing Elementis personal care business in the territory and ensuring sales objectives are met. This position is required to work closely with Elementis Personal Care team, and with cross functional team within Elementis (e.g. technical service team and marketing team) to ensure proper support and alignment.

The purpose of this position is to work closely with the Sales Manager on following aspects:

1. Maintaining and growing a sustainable and profitable business with customers in the area – from planning to execution.

2. Manage and work with distributors in the area

3. Identify and deliver on NBO’s (New Business Opportunities) & Personal Care BU Priorities
