Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to dental practice teams to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient experiences.
• Support practice managers in implementing policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee human resources functions including staffing, onboarding, training, and performance management to cultivate motivated and skilled teams.
• Monitor financial performance by assisting with budgeting, expense control, and revenue optimization efforts across practices.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including medical records management, infection control protocols, and safety standards.
• Facilitate communication between practices to share resources, coordinate initiatives, and promote best practices in dental care delivery.
• Assist with the implementation and utilization of electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix or similar platforms.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on patient care quality, operational efficiency, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare administration with a strong understanding of dental practice operations.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience supervising teams within medical or dental environments.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems like Dentrix or comparable platforms.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental and healthcare settings.
• Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation within a healthcare context.
• Background in human resources functions such as staffing, training, and employee relations.
• Previous hospital or acute care experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication abilities to foster team collaboration and patient satisfaction.
