Area Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and dependable area technician to support the repair, maintenance, and overall technical operations of our amusement centers. The role will also provide leadership and technical guidance to junior technicians across assigned locations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and overall upkeep of amusement machines and related equipment.
• Conduct regular technical inspections to ensure machines are safe, operational, and properly maintained.
• Diagnose technical and equipment issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Junior Technicians (JTs) assigned to stores.
• Conduct technical training and provide hands-on guidance to junior technicians.
• Monitor technical concerns across assigned branches and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist with machine installation, setup, transfer, receiving, and pull-out activities when required.
• Maintain proper documentation of repairs, maintenance activities, and recurring technical issues.
• Coordinate with store operations and other departments regarding machine concerns.
• Provide recommendations and suggestions to improve machine performance, maintenance procedures, and overall technical operations.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Electromechanical Technology, or any equivalent/related course.
• At least 1 year of experience in repair and maintenance, preferably involving amusement machines, gaming equipment, electronics, or similar equipment.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair.
• Willing and able to travel to different store locations as required.
• Previous experience in supervising, training, or mentoring technicians is an advantage.
