We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed and Unarmed Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV systems and physical patrols to identify potential security threats or suspicious activity
• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry
• Respond promptly to incidents or alarms, including conflicts or emergencies, employing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively
• Conduct thorough inspections of premises, including bag checks and surveillance reviews, to prevent theft or loss prevention issues
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate assistance during medical emergencies until professional help arrives
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records to ensure accurate documentation of security activities
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during critical incidents or investigations as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and loss prevention strategies
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to operate security equipment such as CCTV systems and access control devices effectively
• Physical fitness to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond swiftly in emergencies
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable)

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45.0 per week
