ARMED GUARD - CONTINUOUS

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or security, with the ability to maintain a safe environment for our clients and their assets. As an Armed Guard, you will be responsible for enforcing security protocols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to incidents as they arise. This role requires a high level of professionalism, integrity, and the ability to handle conflict effectively.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activity or potential threats.
• Monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV) and respond promptly to any suspicious behavior.
• Conduct regular checks of premises and ensure all security measures are in place.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations through TrackTik.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
• Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
• Stay updated on security protocols and participate in ongoing training sessions.
• Issue Official 602 Trespass Notices with Sac PD.

Requirements

• Valid armed security license and certification as required by BSIS regulations.
• Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or loss prevention is preferred.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and conflict management techniques.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to walk, stand, climb for the duration of your shift.
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
