Elite Security LVHOA Security Officer – Overnight Shift

Shift: Overnight, including weekends and holidays as assigned
Location: Residential HOA Communities – Las Vegas, NV

Position Overview

Elite Security LV is seeking dependable, professional, and observant security officers to provide overnight security services at residential HOA communities throughout Las Vegas. Officers will help maintain a safe and orderly environment for residents and guests, deter unauthorized activity, conduct property patrols, enforce community rules as authorized, and promptly report suspicious activity or security concerns.

We are hiring for both armed and unarmed security positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of HOA communities, parking areas, amenities, and common areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, loitering, unauthorized visitors, and potential security threats.
• Enforce HOA rules and property policies within the scope of assigned duties and client instructions.
• Monitor pools, clubhouses, fitness centers, gates, and other amenities to ensure they are secured according to established schedules.
• Check parking areas for unauthorized parking, suspicious vehicles, and potential safety concerns.
• Respond professionally to resident complaints, disturbances, noise complaints, and other security-related incidents.
• Observe and report criminal activity, vandalism, property damage, and safety hazards.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch, property management, and emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and promote resident safety.
• Follow all post orders, company policies, client requirements, and applicable state laws.
• Maintain professional communication with residents, visitors, and fellow security personnel.

Qualifications

• Must meet Nevada licensing and registration requirements for the position.
• Armed officers must possess all required Nevada armed security qualifications and authorizations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if required for the assigned post.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout overnight shifts.
• Strong observation, communication, and conflict de-escalation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
• Ability to complete written reports and use mobile applications for patrol documentation.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Previous security, HOA, apartment community, or patrol experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk patrol routes, stand for extended periods, and access designated property areas.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform assigned patrol duties safely throughout the shift.

Armed Position Requirements

In addition to the general qualifications, armed officers must maintain all required firearms permits, training, and authorizations. Officers must follow company firearms policies, applicable laws, and use-of-force requirements at all times.
