We are seeking vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officers to protect jewelry stores and ensure a safe, secure environment for staff, customers, and valuable assets. Responsibilities

• Control access points using sophisticated access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations.
• Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activities, executing emergency response procedures effectively.
• Conduct thorough incident report writing to document security breaches or safety concerns accurately.
• Handle firearm and Taser deployment responsibly following all safety protocols and legal regulations.
• Perform background checks on new employees or contractors as part of security clearance processes.
• Provide first aid assistance, including CPR and AED operation, during medical emergencies on-site.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety.
• Execute manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of security equipment or packages when necessary.
• Enforce compliance with all security regulations, policies, and procedures consistently.

Experience

• Prior experience in armed security within retail environments or similar settings is highly preferred.
• Military background or law enforcement experience provides valuable skills in surveillance, incident management, and emergency response.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, firearm handling, Taser use, and conflict management is advantageous.
• Familiarity with security technology such as access control systems and CCTV monitoring is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough incident reports with attention to detail.
• Strong physical fitness level for patrolling duties and manual handling tasks.
• Proven capability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally while ensuring safety.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
