Pay for Armed Security Guards

Starting Pay $20/hour

Pay Range of $20-$30/hour, dependent on a combination of job performance, experience, special skills, details of the assigned mission, and the candidate's assigned mission roles/responsibilities. Pay reviewed at 90-day anniversary.

We are building a professional security team.

We are looking for individuals who treat security as a profession—not a temporary job. If you are looking for an easy post, this is not the role.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Maintain a strong, professional presence
• Identify and prevent potential threats
• Handle conflict calmly and effectively
• Follow post orders exactly
• Represent Serviam with clients and the public

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS

• Active PERC Card (Illinois)
• Valid FOID + Firearm Control Card (FCC)
• Minimum 2 years security/military/law enforcement experience
• Reliable transportation (if applicable)
• Ability to work the assigned schedule consistently

THIS ROLE REQUIRES

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sprint 100 yards in full kit
• Stand/walk 8+ hours
• Climb multiple flights of stairs
• Physically capable of detaining individuals if necessary
