Armed Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting personnel, property, and assets by maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your expertise in law enforcement, conflict management, and emergency response will be vital in ensuring a secure environment for all. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility using surveillance tools such as CCTV cameras to monitor activity and prevent unauthorized access or theft.
• Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized individuals enter secure areas.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including conflicts or disturbances, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, assisting injured individuals until professional medical help arrives.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies, providing accurate reports and support as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incident reports, and security logs to ensure comprehensive documentation of all events.
• Utilize CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment effectively to detect suspicious activity and support loss prevention efforts.

Skills

• Proven experience in security roles with a strong understanding of surveillance techniques and CCTV operations.
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and legal regulations related to security practices.
• Ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally while maintaining safety for all parties involved.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response training is highly desirable.
• Background in military or law enforcement service is advantageous for this role.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
