Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems continuously to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors entering the premises.
• Enforce security policies and procedures with professionalism, including conflict management when necessary.
• Document all security activities, incidents, and observations accurately in shift reports and logs.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring law enforcement or emergency intervention.

Skills

• Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement with a strong understanding of security protocols.
• Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems for effective monitoring.
• Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and professionally using conflict management skills.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or property damage.
• Background in military or law enforcement enhances situational awareness and response capabilities.

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
