We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Armed Security Officers to join our dynamic security team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment s by implementing comprehensive security measures, conducting patrols, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your expertise in law enforcement, surveillance, and emergency response will ensure the safety of personnel, property, and assets. Responsibilities

• Manage entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Respond promptly to emergencies by following established procedures for fire safety, medical incidents, or security breaches
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities with clarity and accuracy for future review
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary to secure or move equipment or materials safely
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incident responses while ensuring compliance with all security regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff and students courteously while maintaining a vigilant security presence

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields with a focus on physical security and surveillance techniques
• Valid certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, firearm handling, and conflict de-escalation methods
• Strong knowledge in incident report writing
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally
• Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties including standing for extended periods and heavy lifting when required
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols and emergency evacuation plans

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 40.0 per week
