Armed Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security operations, with a focus on maintaining safety and order in various environments. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing skills in surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention to protect personnel and property.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Utilize CCTV systems for surveillance and monitoring of premises.
• Conduct thorough inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as required for investigations or incidents.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients, employees, and the public.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid armed security officer license or certification.
• Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of conflict management techniques and surveillance methods.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and CCTV operation.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
