We are seeking a highly vigilant and disciplined Armed Security Officer to safeguard our premises, personnel, and assets. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing security protocols, controlling access points, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems and physical security checks to identify potential threats or hazards.
• Manage access control systems to verify authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors entering or leaving the premises.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established emergency response procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities with clarity and accuracy.
• Operate firearms and Taser devices safely in accordance with legal regulations and company policies; perform firearm handling with precision during drills or real situations.
• Perform background checks on new employees or visitors as part of security clearance processes.
• Assist with heavy lifting or manual handling tasks when required for safety or operational purposes.
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary; operate AED devices confidently to assist injured individuals.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to peacefully resolve disputes while maintaining safety for all parties involved.
• Ensure compliance with all security regulations and company policies at all times; participate in ongoing training sessions on law enforcement procedures and emergency protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on physical security operations.
• Valid certification in firearm handling, Taser use, CPR, AED operation, and first aid; additional certifications such as CCTV operation or incident report writing are advantageous.
• Strong surveillance skills with experience using CCTV systems and access control technologies.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques.
• Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm demeanor under pressure; skilled in conflict de-escalation strategies.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely; capable of heavy lifting when required.
• Exceptional attention to detail for performing background checks and writing comprehensive incident reports.
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, patrol extensively, and respond swiftly during emergencies.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering strictly to security regulations and legal standards.
