Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patrols of premises using CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, and physical security measures to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems continuously to identify suspicious behavior or potential threats.
• Manage access control by performing background checks, verifying identities, and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for security equipment or during emergency situations.
• Engage in conflict de-escalation and conflict management techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles with knowledge of surveillance technology, CCTV operation, access control systems, and physical security practices.
• Military background or law enforcement experience is highly desirable for understanding emergency procedures and incident management.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, and firearm handling is required; additional certifications in heavy lifting or manual handling are a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write comprehensive incident reports clearly and professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to perform background checks accurately while adhering to compliance with security regulations.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols and evacuation plans.
• Ability to perform patrols efficiently while maintaining high alertness levels across different shifts.
