Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Full-time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, customer disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, delivery and receiving areas, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and daily reports while maintaining a professional presence and representing Allied Universal positively.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
