Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Specialist will be responsible for monitoring activities, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Utilize CCTV systems to oversee surveillance operations and document any incidents or irregularities.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary until emergency services arrive.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing necessary reports and evidence for investigations.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the security of company assets.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review by management.
• Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to security operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, military or law enforcement is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is essential.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• A valid security certification or training in militarized security practices is a plus.
