ARN Merger

About the Role

We are looking for an ARN Transfer and Merger professional to manage end-to-end ARN (AMFI Registration Number) and broker-code transfer processes across mutual fund and PMS accounts. The role involves coordinating with AMCs, RTAs, and internal teams to complete transfers accurately, within TAT, and in line with SEBI and AMFI requirements.

Must Have

• Hands-on experience in ARN Merger & broker-code transfer processing (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of Mutual Fund and PMS products
• Familiarity with RTA platforms (CAMS, KFintech) and their transfer/mapping processes
• Understanding of folio structures and KYC requirements as they relate to transfers
• Sound understanding of SEBI and AMFI regulations governing ARN and broker-code changes

What You’ll Own

• Process ARN merger and broker-code transfer requests end-to-end within defined TATs
• Coordinate with AMCs, RTAs, and internal stakeholders to initiate, track, and close transfer requests
• Prepare, verify, and submit transfer documentation and client/partner declarations
• Reconcile folios and holdings before and after transfer to ensure complete and accurate mapping
• Track pending, rejected, and escalated cases and resolve them with AMCs/RTAs
• Maintain MIS and status reports on transfer volumes, TAT, and pendency for management and partners
• Respond to queries and escalations from clients, partners, and internal teams within SLA
• Ensure adherence to SEBI, AMFI, and internal audit/compliance requirements
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all transfer activity
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to speed up transfers and reduce errors

• Excellent coordination skills with AMCs, RTAs, and internal teams

• Process-driven approach with a focus on compliance and audit-readiness
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within defined turnaround times

Is This You?

• 2–6 years of experience in Mutual Fund, or Broking operations, with ARN merger and transfer exposure
• Prior experience with AMCs, RTAs (CAMS/KFintech), or wealth-tech platforms is highly preferred
• Strong process orientation with high attention to detail
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and comfort with data reconciliation
• Good communication skills for coordinating across AMCs, partners, and internal teams
• Exposure to compliance, audit, and regulatory reporting is an advantage
