About the role

We are seeking a talented Art Director to join our creative team at our Chatuchak Bangkok office on a full-time basis. As Art Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and aesthetic direction of our advertising campaigns and creative projects. This position is strategically important to our organisation, as it directly influences the quality and impact of the work we deliver to our clients. You will be responsible for translating creative concepts into compelling visual experiences that resonate with target audiences and align with brand objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and conceptualising visual ideas and creative concepts for advertising campaigns across multiple platforms and mediums
• Leading the visual design direction and aesthetic standards for projects, ensuring consistency and excellence in all deliverables
• Collaborating with copywriters, creative strategists, and other team members to translate campaign briefs into visually compelling executions
• Creating mood boards, visual references, and design presentations to communicate creative direction to clients and stakeholders
• Art directing photography, videography, and illustration shoots, ensuring the captured content aligns with the creative vision
• Overseeing the design and layout of print and digital materials, including advertisements, brochures, websites, and social media content
• Mentoring junior designers and providing constructive feedback to support their professional development
• Staying current with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to keep our creative output fresh and competitive
• Managing design workflows and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5+ years of professional art direction experience within advertising agencies or creative studios
• A strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in visual concept development, campaign design, and brand identity work
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), along with familiarity with prototyping and UX/UI design tools
• Expert knowledge of typography, colour theory, composition, and visual hierarchy
• Strong understanding of advertising principles and the ability to translate marketing briefs into visually compelling creative solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts clearly to clients and team members
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience art directing photography, videography, or other production work
• Knowledge of digital design, web design, and social media best practices
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, polished work
• Preferably, experience working in the Thai market or with Asian cultural contexts would be advantageous
