What they need

About the Role

We’re looking for an Art Director to bring strong creative vision and hands-on design expertise across our portfolio of hospitality, wellness, F&B and lifestyle brands. This role is ideal for someone who can concept, design and art direct — from campaigns, digital and social content to photography, film, print and guest-facing collateral — while maintaining a high standard of visual quality across multiple brands. You’ll work closely with the Brand Director, lead and mentor a Graphic Designer, and collaborate with external creative partners to bring ideas from concept through to final execution.

ART DIRECTOR

The Art Director is responsible for the visual execution and creative quality across the Group’s portfolio of hospitality and wellness brands.

Working closely with the Brand Director, the Art Director translates established brand strategy and creative direction into compelling visual work across campaigns, digital, social, photography, film, print, collateral and guest experiences.

This is a hands-on creative role. The Art Director will conceptualize, design and art direct work themselves while also guiding a Graphic Designer and managing external creative partners when required. The successful candidate must be comfortable designing and executing creative work themselves, not solely directing others.

  • Develop creative concepts, mood boards, treatments and visual references.
  • Establish the visual direction for campaigns, content, launches and key communications.

HANDS-ON DESIGN

  • Develop campaign assets, social content, presentations, sales materials, collateral and other brand communications.
  • Take concepts from initial idea through to final artwork.
  • Create layouts, typography, image treatments and other visual assets independently.
  • Work confidently within existing brand guidelines while knowing when and how to push the visual expression forward.
  • Review and refine work produced by the Graphic Designer.

PHOTOGRAPHY & CONTENT

  • Lead the visual direction of photography and video
  • Develop shoot concepts, mood boards, shot lists and visual references.
  • Art direct shoots, including composition, styling, props, talent and overall visual storytelling.
  • Select, edit and oversee the final delivery of visual assets.
  • Build and maintain strong image libraries across the Group’s brands.

TEAM LEADERSHIP

  • Lead and mentor the Graphic Designer within the shared creative team.
  • Provide clear creative direction, feedback and support throughout projects.
  • Allocate and prioritize design projects according to business needs and deadlines.

CROSS-BRAND CREATIVE

  • Work across the Group’s hotel, wellness, F&B and other lifestyle brands.
  • Adapt creative thinking to the distinct personality and audience of each brand.
  • Develop visual assets for openings, launches, campaigns, events and special projects.
  • Support creative needs across guest-facing and commercial touchpoints, from digital content to physical collateral.

EXTERNAL CREATIVE PARTNERS

  • Brief and collaborate with photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, production companies, agencies and other creative partners.
  • Provide clear creative direction and feedback.
  • Manage the quality and consistency of externally produced work.
  • Support production planning, timelines and creative budgets.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6–8+ years of experience in art direction, graphic design or a related creative discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, multimedia, fine art, design, or similar discipline.
  • Experience in hospitality, luxury, lifestyle, wellness, travel, fashion or other premium consumer brands is highly desirable.
  • Strong creative vision with attention to the arts and experience within luxury.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both design craft and art direction.
  • Proven experience in photography and content production.
  • Strong knowledge of typography, layout, composition, image-making and visual storytelling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. UI/UX design is a plus.
  • Comfortable designing independently and producing final artwork.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
