Art Gallery Internship fall 2026

Position Overview:
Nicolas Auvray Gallery is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern interested in learning about contemporary art and gallery operations.

Working closely with the gallery team, the intern will gain practical exposure to:

• Artwork documentation and inventory systems
• Exhibition and art-fair preparation
• Digital communications and social media
• Artist, collector, and designer relationships
• Artwork handling and gallery procedures
• Research and gallery development

This is an in-person, at our Chelsea gallery. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, professional, and genuinely interested in contemporary art.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, website platforms, social media, or databases is helpful but not required.

Schedule**:** A strong commitment to the full duration of the internship is expected to ensure a meaningful learning experience. The internship is for 24 hours per week minium (3 days a week Minimum) and for a minimum of 4 months.
Compensation : The internship is open for university credits .
