Art Teacher – Job Description

Position: Art Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct engaging art classes for students.
• Teach drawing, painting, craft, sketching, and other creative activities.
• Encourage creativity, imagination, and artistic expression.
• Prepare lesson plans and classroom activities as per the curriculum.
• Assess students’ artwork and provide constructive feedback.
• Organize art exhibitions, competitions, and school events.
• Maintain art materials and ensure proper use of resources.
• Create a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fine Arts or equivalent qualification.
• B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification preferred.
• Good knowledge of drawing, painting, craft, and various art techniques.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach towards teaching.
• Ability to work effectively with students of different age groups.
• Prior teaching experience in a school will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹12,050.04 - ₹25,000.00 per month
