Art Teacher

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Art Education or any related field.
• Holds a teaching certificate
• Having an experience handling children with special needs is preferred
• Knowledge of various art forms (drawing, painting, sculpture, digital arts, etc.) and the ability to teach diverse techniques and materials.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Management & Instruction:

• Develop and implement art lessons that are aligned with the school’s curriculum and are adapted to meet the needs of students of all abilities.
• Incorporate various art techniques and media, from traditional methods (drawing, painting) to digital arts, ensuring that students can explore creativity through a variety of mediums.
• Use differentiated instruction strategies to ensure that all students can participate and succeed in art classes.
• Foster an inclusive, creative environment where students can express themselves and explore their artistic abilities.

Student Monitoring & Support:

• Creating and implementing Weekly Activity Plans (WAP) for students.
• Developing and maintaining Individual Education and Transition Plans (IETPs) for students.
• Creating Progress Reports (PRs) of students.

Communication & Collaboration:

• Responding to parents’ messages and providing updates on student progress.
• Attending Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs) to discuss student progress and concerns.
• Participating in meetings with faculty, staff, and parents as required.

Professional Development:

• Attending professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Community Engagement and Exhibitions:

• Organize or participate in art exhibitions or showcases, highlighting student work and celebrating their creative achievements.
• Engage with the school community through art-related projects or events, fostering an appreciation for the arts among students, staff, and families.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php27,000.00 per month
