Art Teacher （Intern）

About the role

This is a practical teaching internship designed for individuals who are interested in developing a career in professional art education. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced art educators and gain hands-on experience in a professional art studio environment focused on art education, art competition preparation, examination preparation and student development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting drawing and painting classes.
• Guide students in drawing techniques, painting skills and creative development.
• Provide individual guidance and feedback to students during lessons.
• Assist students with art competition and examination preparation.
• Support students in developing artworks and art portfolios.
• Prepare teaching materials, classroom activities and art projects.
• Maintain a positive, creative and professional classroom environment.
• Communicate with students and provide appropriate guidance and encouragement.
• Assist with studio workshops, art activities and other education-related projects.
• Work together with the teaching team to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students.

About you

• Minimum qualification: Diploma or above.
• Diploma / Degree in Fine Art, Art Education, Design or related fields is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience is required.
• Experience teaching children or teenagers is an advantage.
• Strong passion for drawing, painting and art education.
• Responsible, patient and willing to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work professionally with students and teaching staff.
• Able to assist students with art competitions and examination preparation.
• Able to commit to the full 6-month internship period.
