Role Description The Article Trainee internship role at SNR & Associates is an on-site position based in Pune. The trainee will assist in audit and assurance assignments, including documentation, testing of controls, and preparation of working papers under the supervision of senior team members. Daily responsibilities include supporting taxation work such as return preparation, basic computations, and filing, as well as contributing to research for advisory projects and drafting summaries or reports. The role involves maintaining accurate records, complying with internal procedures, coordinating with clients for information and documentation, and learning to use relevant accounting and tax software. The Article Trainee is expected to demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a structured training environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic taxation knowledge.
• Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis, working with spreadsheets, and interpreting financial statements.
• Candidates should possess good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft emails, notes, and basic reports.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn accounting and tax software.
• Candidates should possess analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a high level of integrity and ethical conduct.
• Enrollment in or completion of a relevant professional course (such as CA, or equivalent) and prior internship exposure in accounting or finance will be an added advantage.
