Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI / In-Orbit Compute Engineer

We are recruiting an AI / In-Orbit Compute Engineer for a confidential Nordic space company operating at the forefront of satellite infrastructure and advanced space technology globally. They have secured contracts with the largest operators in the world.

The focus is simple: move intelligence closer to the satellite.

You will work with technologies that enable satellites to process, analyse and act on data directly in orbit — combining AI, edge computing and onboard processing in real space environments.

The role

You will contribute to the development of next-generation in-orbit compute capabilities, working across software, AI and space systems.

We are looking for

The ideal candidate has documented experience with onboard or in-orbit compute / processing.

• Experience with AI/ML, edge computing or embedded compute
• Strong software and systems understanding
• Background from space, satellites, payloads or aerospace
• Independent, technically curious and comfortable owning complex problems

Why join?

This is an opportunity to work where AI meets space infrastructure — on technology that will shape how satellites process data in the future.

You will join a highly technical, international environment with significant influence and exposure to some of the most advanced space systems in Europe.
