  • Mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Championing innovation, continuous learning and operational excellence across the engineering team.
  • Promoting effective use of AI-assisted engineering tools and practices.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on AI engineering experience and a track record of building and operating complex software solutions.

Essential experience

  • 5+ years’ experience building complex software solutions, with a strong focus on AI and machine learning.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow .

  • Experience leading technical projects and, where appropriate, small engineering teams.
  • Experience mentoring engineers or data scientists through guidance, code reviews and best-practice development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable experience

  • A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with time-series data, simulation models, financial or market data .
  • Experience with front-end or full-stack software development.
  • Experience within the energy sector or another data-intensive industry.

What’s on Offer
