Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the Role

Our client in the technology and solutions industry is looking for an AI / Machine Learning Engineer to join their growing team. The role will focus on developing and operationalizing AI/ML solutions, including Generative AI and RAG applications, within an enterprise environment. The successful candidate will work closely with regional stakeholders and technical teams to build, deploy and continuously improve AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy production-ready AI/ML solutions.
• Develop Generative AI, Agentic AI and RAG applications for enterprise use cases.
• Build and maintain AI services, APIs and supporting integrations.
• Develop MLOps pipelines for model deployment, testing, monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Integrate AI solutions with data platforms, applications, databases and cloud environments.
• Monitor AI/ML performance and troubleshoot production issues to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Apply appropriate security, governance and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, architects, engineers and business stakeholders on AI initiatives.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in AI/ML, software engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong Python and machine learning experience, with knowledge of frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs and RAG architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP, with exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with APIs, SQL, data engineering, MLOps and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
