About the Role

We're looking for an experienced AI Developer to join our Mobile / VA / Self-Service team and help expand AI capabilities within Stargaze , powering smarter self-service channels and digital customer experiences.

You'll design and build production-ready AI systems, develop advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines , implement agentic workflows, and optimize AI-driven experiences across web, mobile, and assisted channels.

🔑 What You'll Do

• Design and optimize RAG pipelines, including chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, reranking, and retrieval strategies.
• Build agentic workflows using multi-step agents, tool execution, working memory, and state machines.
• Apply context engineering, prompt optimization, context packing, and token optimization techniques.
• Develop document processing, information extraction, search, and ranking solutions for business-specific use cases.
• Build and maintain AI microservices and backend components using Python and FastAPI.
• Implement structured outputs using JSON schemas, Pydantic, and advanced prompting techniques.
• Evaluate and improve retrieval accuracy, model performance, latency, and overall AI reliability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, UX, and operations teams to integrate AI into digital self-service journeys.
• Apply strong testing, debugging, observability, privacy, and security practices across AI pipelines.

✅ What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python expertise.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade RAG systems and retrieval-heavy AI applications.
• Practical experience with agentic AI patterns, tool use, state machines, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Strong prompt engineering and context management skills.
• Solid understanding of Python async programming, concurrency, performance tuning, and clean architecture.
• Experience developing AI services using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Strong testing, debugging, monitoring, and observability skills.
• Ability to translate complex AI behavior into clear, business-focused recommendations.

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience in telecommunications or large-scale digital retail/eCommerce.
• Familiarity with contact centre analytics and self-service optimization.
• Exposure to personalization engines and behavioural targeting.
• Understanding of enterprise data architecture and cloud data workflows.
