Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI/ML Engineer – Freelance/Contract – Remote

Contract till the end of the year and then a 12 month extension

Fully remote from the EU

Role expectations by function

• Use AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Claude Code , Opencode , codex etc) as default — not as a fallback
• Understand how Pegasus (Salesforce) Copilot analyses PRs: risk scoring, test selection, architectural flags
• Review AI-generated code critically — not blindly accept it
• Contribute to CDP pipeline scripts (bash, Python) and understand how AI steps integrate into delivery.yaml
• Comfortable running LLM API calls (zllm) for automation tasks in scripts
• Use AI tools without prompting — defaults to Copilot/Claude rather than googling everything
• Read an LLM-generated output critically — spots hallucinations, wrong field names, bad logic
• Write a basic zllm API call — POST to chat completions, parse JSON response
• Understand AI boundaries — no PII or secrets in prompts, follow the client’s AI guidelines
• Interpret Pegasus Copilot output — act on risk flags and test injection signals
• Contribute to AI-adjacent automation — add a script step that calls an LLM, even if not from scratch

What we look for

• Has used LLMs as a tool, not just experimented once
• Can explain where AI broke for them and how they caught it
• Understands that prompt quality affects output quality
• Has integrated an API into automation or a pipeline
