We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Artisan Baker. Our bakery is enhancing its offering to become a premium Fusion Bakery Cafe. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in hand crafted sourdough products including long levin bread, buns and pastries focusing on high quality and flavour.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of building and growing a unique boutique style business in a charming community.

Must be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys creative culinary work and providing exceptional customer experiences. Must work in a timely and efficient matter.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble baked goods, including small cakes, pastries, and other confections, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
• Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, baking, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper packaging of finished products
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking special orders, and answering questions about products
• Support team members in daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods

Qualifications

Languages: English

Education: Culinary Arts Degree or Equivalent.

Experience: 2 year experience is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
