Artisan Baker

Fol Epi is looking for full time baker

We have a great team and well rounded bread program in a nice inviting space. We mill our own flour with organic heritage grain from a farmer we've worked with for over 15 years. We're a certified organic bakery using quality ingredients to make the best bread possible.

We're looking for someone with a good understanding of mixing, shaping, and baking bread, as well as laminating and shaping viennoiserie. The ability to work quickly, cleanly, and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team is important.

Responsibilities will include, forming a variety of breads and viennoisserie, scaling and mixing doughs, and baking off breads and breakfast pastries

Role:

• Shifts start at 5:00AM - 3:00PM
• 10 hour shifts from Tuesday-Friday
• Dividing and shaping bread
• Laminating dough and using a sheeter
• Scaling ingredients and preparing mixes, fillings, creams, and other components
• Clear and effective communication skills, time management, attention to detail
• Cleaning and maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace including cleaning equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and proper storage of food items
• Must have food safe
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
