We are seeking an experienced AS/400 COBOL Developer to provide L2 application support and development for Channels & Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) systems within a Core Banking environment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of business-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Channels & EAI applications on the AS400 platform.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using RPG, C, and/or Java.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform incident resolution.
• Support payment systems and ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and implement improvements.
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and fixes.
• Work with DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Manage and support ALDON for software deployment automation on AS400.

Requirements Must-have:

• Bachelor's degree in any related discipline.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Hands-on experience with the AS400 platform and DB2 database.
• Proficiency in RPG, C, and/or Java programming.
• Experience in L2 support, including incident handling and issue resolution.
• Experience working with the ALDON deployment tool.

Nice-to-have:

• Exposure to Core Banking environments.
• Knowledge of system integration and middleware concepts.
• Experience in automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of banking/payment regulations and workflows.
• Experience with AS/400 COBOL 400 programming language.
• Understanding of Channels & EAI systems.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems.
