What they need
We are looking for AS400 Support + Development experienced who can join us immediately at our Bangalore Office
Role & responsibilities :
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in RPGLE development and IBM i (AS/400) application support.
- Strong expertise in RPGLE,CLLE, DB2/DB400, SQL, and IBM i operating environment.
- Experience in developing, enhancing, debugging, and maintaining business-critical applications.
- Strong knowledge of production support, incident management, problem management, and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to analyze complex programs, identify defects, and implement effective and sustainable solutions.
- Experience working with job scheduling, batch processing, data files, interfaces, and system integrations.
- Good understanding of SDLC, change management, code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
