As400 Developer

AS400 Developer BFSI / Capital Markets

We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with strong hands-on development experience and mandatory exposure to the BFSI / Investment domain.

Experience: 8+ Years
Domain: BFSI / Investment Domain experience is mandatory

Key Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in AS400 / IBM i development
• ILE COBOL / COBOL
• RPGLE / RPG IV / RPG Free Format
• CL / CLLE / CL400
• Strong SQL on DB2
• Strong understanding of AS400 concepts and utilities
• Experience with DBU, WRKQRY, Subfiles, Jobs and Job Descriptions
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting AS400 interfaces/applications
• Exposure to Web Services, REST APIs, XML and JSON
• Experience with SFTP/file-based integrations and message-based integrations
• Experience integrating AS400 applications with external/vendor platforms
• Knowledge of modernization initiatives, API enablement and SQL refactoring
• Strong Unit Testing and defect-prevention practices
• Exposure to TurnOver / Change Management tools is an added advantage

Mandatory Domain Experience

Candidates must have experience working in the BFSI / Investment domain, preferably with:

• Equities
• Bonds
• Mutual Funds
• ETFs
• Corporate Actions
• Investment instruments / Capital Markets applications
