What they need
About the role
AS400 Mainframe developer role running on AS400 to build the back-end system. Training will be provided on how to use ASSET-Build system, perform testing before release.
Key responsibilities
- Build the back-end system using AS400
- Perform testing before release
- Support user testing
- Ensure system can be deployed and help prepare documentation
- Make changes on code and prepare documentation using template
- Use JIRA to perform scrum activity
- Conduct scrum ceremony whenever needed to discuss progress and update JIRA every 2 weeks
- Analyse problems and find issues on source code using debugging skills
- Identify which part of system has problems and fix them
- Perform queries from database using SQL to search for records
About you
- 2-4 years hands-on work experience as Developer with AS400 (IBM System i) or RPG/RPG LE/CL from any industry
- Must know how to analyse problems and find issues on source code – debugging skill
- Ability to find out and fix problems
- Hands-on experience in queries from database using SQL
- Database (SQL / NoSQL) skills
