About the Role

Our laboratory is seeking an experienced Asbestos analyst (PLM).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze client projects following established laboratory policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Quality Assurance Manuals (QAMs)
• Entering laboratory sample data in Pinnacle’s Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Follow and maintain the laboratory’s quality control system
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation
• Ensure clean and organized workstations
• Meet all project timelines while handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Required)
• B.S. or B.A. in Biology, Chemistry, or Other Related Field (Preferred)
• Minimum 1-year Laboratory Experience in analyzing asbestos using PLM (Required)
• LIMS software experience (Preferred)
• Microscopy experience (Required)
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer operating experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to sit up to 100% of the workday
• Ability to commute to Lawndale, CA.
• Motivated, team-player attitude

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
