Asbestos Superintendent

• Oversee multiple asbestos jobs simultaneously
• Manage/supervise several supervisors and asbestos crews
• Visit different jobs throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island
• Coordinate with PMs, clients, air-monitoring firms and inspectors
• Keep projects moving according to schedule
• Handle field problems and compliance issues
• Review daily reports, paperwork and job progress, report to department head and company president
• Understand NYC DEP + NYS DOL Rule 56 + OSHA
• Have an active NYC DEP Asbestos Supervisor certification and NYS DOL asbestos supervisor credentials

Requirements

** Fluent or conversational SPANISH speaker**

7+ years asbestos experience - Ideally

NYC asbestos experience - Yes

NYS DOL Supervisor certification - Yes

NYC DEP Supervisor certification - Yes

Has supervised asbestos crews - Yes

Has overseen multiple projects - Yes

Can travel between 5 boroughs - Yes

NYC DEP/Rule 56 knowledge - Yes

OSHA knowledge - Yes

Driver's license - Yes

Project management experience - Strong plus

Scheduling experience - Strong plus

Client/vendor coordination - Strong plus

Estimating - Nice to have

Union experience - Nice to have

Computer/reporting skills - Strong plus

**Must have valid pass on Respirator Fit Test, Pulmonary Function Test, in date NYS DOL and NYC DEP Certification**

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
