What you need

• 1+ years of teaching or tutoring experience in core subjects
• Experience delivering or assessing ASDAN programmes (e.g., Towards Independence, Personal Progress, CoPE, or Life Skills) or holding a relevant teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS)
• Right to work in the UK
• An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience working with children and young people in educational settings, particularly those engaging with alternative provision or nurture groups
• Proven experience supporting individuals with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
• Skills in implementing adapted curriculum plans and portfolio-based assessments tailored to individual student capabilities
• Strong background in fostering independent living skills, confidence, and vocational preparation within a school or specialist setting
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage student portfolios and evidence tracking effectively
• A compassionate approach combined with exceptional communication skills suitable for collaborating with children, parents, and educational staff
