ASHP Installer

Climate Insulation Limited has been in the Retrofit and Renewables industry since 2009. We have helped over 10,000 customer to reduce their energy bills, making their homes more comfortable. We are now expanding our focus on renewable energy and hence are looking to hire more Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) Installers.

The Role :

• To install ASHP in various areas around Greater Manchester and beyond. This will involve system testing, design checking, installation and communication with customer as well as with office.
• Establish work approaches in accordance with best practice, system design and installation equipment.
• Ensure understanding and consistently apply the knowledge and approach to all technical aspects. Support the ‘back-office’ function in technical matters.
• To ensure all health and safety procedures and protocols are followed to understand, assess and mitigate risks effectively.

Requirements :

• Level 2/3 NVQ or equivalent in plumbing, heating, or gas engineering
• WRAS water regulations
• G3 Unvented Hot Water
• Proven technical understanding of ASHP, plumbing and hot water systems, fault finding and ensuring systems function following design parameters.
• The ability to effectively convey technical issues to a lay person.
• At least 12 months' experience of installing ASHP's
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use technology remotely are a must
• Have your own tools and testing equipment.
• Preferably located in drivable distance to Cheadle.
