ASHP Labourer

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and diligent ASHP Labourer to join our construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to dynamic building projects by assisting with various manual tasks on-site. The ideal candidate will be energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills while supporting the smooth progress of construction activities. This paid position provides valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry and a chance to develop essential trade skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and preparation of construction sites, including moving materials and equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support carpentry, masonry, or other trades as needed.
• Support the installation of structural elements, fixtures, or other components under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by clearing debris, tools, and materials regularly.
• Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately to supervisors.

Skills

• Experience working with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
• Prior construction experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
