Noodle Jone is looking for an experienced, reliable and passionate Cook / Kitchen Team Member to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are an Asian restaurant and takeaway dedicated to serving quality, tasty food made with care. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their cooking, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a friendly and hardworking team.

About the role

Working in our busy kitchen, you will help prepare and cook our menu items while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Asian dishes according to our recipes and quality standards.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning and stock rotation.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.
• Follow food safety procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Assist with stock control and minimise food waste.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

About you

• Previous experience working as a cook or in a commercial restaurant kitchen.
• Experience preparing and cooking Asian cuisine, which will be highly regarded.
• Good knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene and safe food handling.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
