ASL Interpreters - Washington DC

We are hiring AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) INTERPRETERS! We are looking for American Sign Language interpreters who want to join an international company and be a great help to the community.

Job Overview The Interpreter assists deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals by facilitating communication in a variety of scenarios related to their day-to-day work activities. This role involves providing intercultural mediation to help ensure that communication is clear and effective, enabling the delivery of culturally sensitive support. A commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience, maintaining patient privacy and safety, and fostering a spirit of teamwork is essential for this position.

Location: Washington DC

Date: every day, including weekends

Hours

• 6:30 AM to 3 PM
• 8 AM to 2 PM

Your Background And Experience

• Work Experience: 1 + years (desirable)
• Certifications are not compulsory, but desirable (Ed: K-12, NIC, CI, EIC).
• Fluency in spoken and written English and ASL interpreting, Professional level interpreting.
