Duties

• Assist with asphalt paving operations, including preparing surfaces and spreading materials
• Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, front loader trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar machinery under supervision
• Support traffic control efforts to ensure safety within work zones for crews and the public
• Use hand tools and power tools for site preparation, material handling, and minor repairs
• Perform manual handling tasks like lifting heavy materials and equipment to support construction activities
• Follow all safety protocols aligned with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
• Experience
• Previous construction site experience with a focus on road construction or highway maintenance preferred
• Knowledge of traffic control procedures for work zones highly desirable
• Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, welding, and basic equipment maintenance beneficial
• Must have Asphalt Experience

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
