Asphalt Paver Operator

AMI is needing a highly skilled Asphalt Paver Operator to join our dynamic team. This key role directly impacts production goals and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in high-standard paving operations and be an energetic, action-oriented, positive, and professional team player.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate asphalt paving machinery safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge on how to keep screed adjusted properly and set up electronics in line with the paver to maintain quality.
• Monitor asphalt distribution, ensuring smooth application and finish.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Work alongside crew members and assist in all capacities of applications.
• Uphold jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times.
• Report issues, material needs, and progress to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Needed:

• Must be proficient in operating an Asphalt Paver.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of asphalt experience is required.
• Available to work weekends.
• Ability to operate a Roller, Skid Steer, lute is a plus.
