Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the site by ensuring that the area is clean and ready for paving operations.
• Rake and spread asphalt to achieve a smooth and even surface, ensuring proper thickness and alignment.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently on construction sites.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
• Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or site conditions to supervisors promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in asphalt raking or related construction roles is a must.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to dump trucks, rollers, millers, and pavers.
• Knowledge of construction site practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments typical of construction sites.
• Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to achieving project goals efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $78.00 per hour
