About the Role

As part of a professional asphalt crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality road surfacing works while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with asphalt equipment, including pavers, rollers and screeds.
• Carry out road resurfacing, patching, overlays and new asphalt construction.
• Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects safely and on schedule.
• Follow all traffic management and workplace safety procedures.
• Complete pre-start checks and assist with the maintenance of equipment.
• Travel to various project sites throughout the region as required.
• Be available for early morning starts, overtime and occasional weekend work.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• Experience operating or assisting with asphalt machinery, including rollers, pavers or screeds.
• Current unrestricted driver's licence with a safe driving record.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required.
