ASP.NET Core Application Developer

Basic Functions:

Application Developers are responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, enhancement, and maintenance of business applications based on defined business and technical requirements.

They analyze requirements, develop application solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, support system integrations, and collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure reliable and efficient application performance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into application solutions.
• Design, develop, customize, enhance, and maintain business applications and application components.
• Develop and maintain application interfaces, APIs, reports, workflows, and database components.
• Perform application integration with databases, enterprise systems, APIs, and third-party applications.
• Conduct unit, system, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support to ensure application quality and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, technical issues, and production incidents.
• Identify opportunities for application enhancement, automation, optimization, and improved efficiency.
• Support application deployment, version control, release management, and production implementation.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, QA teams, and other technical resources throughout the development lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test scripts, deployment documents, and user manuals.
• Provide Go-Live, Hypercare, and post-implementation application support.

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related course.
• Experience in application development, software engineering, system development, or application support.
• Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language and development framework.
• Strong knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Experience with APIs, web services, system integration, and application development tools.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar development and version-control platforms.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
• Experience with enterprise applications, ERP systems, cloud platforms, or third-party integrations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
