ASP.Net Developer

e&e is seeking a Microsoft ASP.Net Developer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft ASP.NET Developer to design, develop, test, and support enterprise-level web applications within a large-scale technology environment. This role requires strong expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL Server development, object-oriented design, and modern responsive user interface frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable web applications using ASP.NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, and Vue.js or similar frameworks. This individual should be a strong problem solver who can work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support enterprise web-based applications.
• Develop scalable and maintainable solutions using ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, XML, and XSLT.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Vue.js or comparable frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles and enterprise architecture design patterns.
• Develop and maintain web services and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other database components.
• Create and maintain HTML and CSS components supporting responsive web applications.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
• Develop use cases, process flow diagrams, and supporting technical documentation.
• Use TFS and/or Git for source code management and version control.
• Troubleshoot application, database, integration, and user interface issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and application performance improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, technical teams, business stakeholders, and other project resources.
• Manage multiple priorities and assignments in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting web-based applications within large enterprise environments.
• 3–5 years of experience implementing object-oriented design patterns and enterprise application architecture.
• Strong development experience with ASP.NET, Web Services, VB.NET, ADO.NET, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience developing modern and responsive web applications using JavaScript frameworks.
• 2+ years of UI development experience using Vue.js, Angular, React, or another responsive UI framework; Vue.js is preferred.
• 4–6 years of SQL Server programming experience, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with TFS and/or Git source control systems.
• Experience developing use cases and process flow diagrams.
• Strong understanding of software design, development, testing, and implementation practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and independently resolve complex technical issues.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments in a high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with user interface design principles and best practices.
• Professional project experience using the Vue.js framework.
• Experience with automated build processes, unit testing, and integration systems.
